Ardean Consulting

The Ardean Consulting Group was launched in 2015 with two main goals in mind: to help individuals who were struggling with toxic work environments, and to help organizations who wanted to enhance the quality of their work environments, realizing that although they were doing well, they were losing time, money, and creative energy to internal friction in one or more areas of their operation.  

Dr. Dorothy Bassett, principal, leads Ardean Consulting, drawing upon over 25 years of experience at all levels of higher education administration, having most recently served for 9 years as a university dean over a school of leadership. With a master’s degree in public administration with an HR focus, and a Ph.D. in public and international affairs, Dr. Bassett is an expert in the creation and delivery of professional development programs for mid- to senior-level employees in the public, private, and non-profit sectors in countries around the world. In the course of her career, she has developed solutions for a wide-range of organizations, including the Cyprus Fulbright Commission, the UNHCR, the Cairo Agency for Organization Administration, Ansaldo Signal, PNC Bank, the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the PEW Charitable Trusts, Porticus, and the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs.
